Inspired by Vasily Kandinsky’s “Komposition 8”, Kand’y is a software-based, generative artwork created using Processing.
Every time the program is run, it automatically creates an endless series of abstract images. The code relies heavily on random chance, ensuring that every image is unique.
Kand’y is exhibited as archival prints of its output, each named after the timestamp at which the image was generated.
