Mandala relies on random chance to paint its own (non-) sacred geometries.
Within these flowers lurk perfect symmetries that are too cold to be comforting. Machined symmetry meets organic oddities. A flower of life for our algorithmic age.
Every 15 seconds, the software saves a high-resolution image of the current state of the artwork to the local hard drive. Then it lightens the image a little, and starts drawing over top of it for another 15 seconds.
Every saved image—every mandala created—is completely unique.
